With 40+ years in the world of pageantry arts as a marching member to running a Drum Corps, I became a Visual Tech to pass on tips and tricks I have learned over the years to pass on to the next generation of marchers. During my marching years I started working on a Visual Basics Manual and plotted drill with music by hand for fun. Even in Art school I made a 16MM Movie to Santa Clara Vanguard 1980 drum solo “Stone Ground Seven” music. As an artist the use of LINE, SHAPE and FORM, which evokes all my artwork from drawing, painting & sculpture which I incorporate in my Drill Design, now add choreography at those selected impact moments, then props and transform your show concept into a full theatrical production.
